Terms of Service

Effective 27 October 2026

This is a convenience summary. The Japanese Terms of Service are the authoritative text.

Accounts and plans

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account, passwords, API keys and invitation links secure. Paid plans, limits and billing periods are shown on the pricing page. Payment is handled by Stripe in US dollars, normally monthly; taxes and bank/communication costs are your responsibility. Free plan limits apply until you upgrade.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan from the Billing customer portal before the next renewal. Paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods, except where required by law or expressly agreed.

Your content and AI

You retain rights in the articles, images and translations you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive right to host, store, publish, translate, back up and process that content to provide the service. AI answers, translations and drafts are assistive output; we do not guarantee accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Review AI output before publishing and ensure you have the rights to the content you submit.

Acceptable use

Do not violate law or third-party rights, attempt unauthorised access, overload or circumvent the service, upload malware or unlawful content, impersonate others, or resell the service without permission.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue it for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, lost profits or data loss, except for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms for legal, product or operational reasons and will give reasonable notice of material changes. Japanese law governs; the courts at our location have first-instance jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer protections.
